VILLAALLIV is a project on an elongated plot of land that seeks to utilize its full potential to create a dynamic space for life.

In this project, instead of designing a villa with pre-determined spaces, we have created a “condition” where every moment of life is a unique experience.
This project consists of five layers:
- The Ground: By creating subtle elevations and depressions, we transformed the ground from a simple garden into a dynamic space for sitting and interacting.
- The Platform: Two separate platforms were designed for both anticipated and spontaneous activities. One of these platforms creates a covered space for relaxation, while the other becomes an open-air jacuzzi. These two spaces are connected by a pool that allows the flow of life to run throughout the entire plot.
- The Wall: In this project, the walls are not merely dividers. They form the main structure of the building and contain the circulation paths within them. These walls link different spaces together.
- The Mass: A suspended volume, detached from the platform and resting on the wall. Instead of connecting directly to its surroundings, this volume looks inward, providing more private spaces for living.
- The Void: The Living Villa has two types of open spaces. The outer open space, which is integrated with the trees and garden, and an enclosed “void” at the heart of the project. This void is a secluded pool that also provides a path for contemplation and views from the inside out.

Using the concepts of inside and outside, this project creates a living space that is constantly changing and allows its residents to craft their own momentary experiences of life.
