Jordan Tower
Type: Office – Commercial – Mixed use
Scale: 47000 sqm
The Green Tower of Tehran project was a response to one of the biggest challenges facing cities today: the lack of green space and the disconnect between humans and nature. Guided by the idea that cities, like people, need oxygen to survive, this project sought to create a green lung for the capital.
The design began with a simple concept: to create the largest vertical green space in Tehran. Instead of isolating the building from its environment, the design sought to establish a strong connection with important urban spaces, such as Valiasr and Africa streets, and Mellat Park.
This project invites nature to the heart of the city.
The lower floors of the tower have been transformed into commercial and public spaces, acting as a dynamic “urban deck” that interacts with the surrounding streets. The western part of the building has also been designed as an urban medium for the display of art and culture.
Ultimately, the main goal of this project is not just to build a tower, but to create a sustainable urban ecosystem where people can experience a high quality of life together in a space that forges a link between architecture and nature.
