Kourosh Hajizadeh, the CEO of HajizadehS, holds a Ph.D. in Architecture. With over two decades of professional experience, he began his career by collaborating with prestigious consulting engineering firms, ultimately founding Hajizadeh Architecture Studio in 2008.
His work has garnered numerous international awards and recognitions in recent years. Among his most notable achievements are winning the Middle East Architect Awards in 2013 and being featured on the list of the Top 50 Most Influential Architects in the Middle East from 2014 to 2019. He has also served as a juror for international awards like the A’ Design Awards and numerous national competitions. His projects have consistently won first place in national and international competitions, including the design for the entrance to the National Botanical Garden of Iran, the Khuzestan Engineering Organization building, and the Shams-e Tabrizi Cultural Complex.
Academically, he is a recognized faculty member, top researcher, and exemplary professor. He has a history of teaching at prominent universities in Iran, such as the University of Tehran and Iran University of Science and Technology, as well as international institutions in Dubai and Australia.
His deep passion for art and culture is evident in his written work, including the book “Duman,” which explores the local culture of Tabriz, and through his organization of numerous painting and design exhibitions.
